A meeting, not a pitch
We start with an introductory call to understand what you're looking for and whether we are the right firm for it. There is no obligation, no slide deck, no product.
Dominion Trust Capital was built on a straightforward idea: that private wealth is a long conversation, and the firm you have it with should be stable enough to be there for the whole of it.
Dominion was founded in 2010 by a small group of private bankers who had grown tired of the industry's drift toward quarterly thinking. They wanted to build something closer to the old merchant-banking tradition: careful, long-horizon work for a limited number of families, done by people the client would still be speaking to in twenty years.
Sixteen years on, that remains the firm's working definition of good advice.
Our first job is to understand the family — the balance sheet, the people, the plans. The portfolio comes later.

We start with an introductory call to understand what you're looking for and whether we are the right firm for it. There is no obligation, no slide deck, no product.

Private ownership, no outside shareholders demanding growth-at-all-costs, and an advisor team structured so your contact doesn't change every eighteen months.
A single advisory fee, published on the engagement letter. No commissions, no soft-dollar arrangements, no products built in-house and sold at a markup.
We are paid to think, not to sell. If the right answer is "do less", that is the answer you'll hear.
The advisor you meet is the advisor you keep. Succession is planned, not accidental, so the firm outlasts individual careers.
Introductory consultations are complimentary, confidential, and in no way obligate you to proceed.
